Refined soya oil prices rose by Rs 4.50 or 0.88 per cent to Rs 513.90 per 10 kg in futures trade today, largely on back of firm demand in the spot market due to festive season.
Firming trend in overseas markets also influenced the refined soya oil prices at domestic futures market here.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for October month contract rose by Rs 4.50 or 0.88 per cent to Rs 513.90 per 10 kg in one lot.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in September month contract surged by Rs 3.90 or 0.76 per cent to Rs 516 per 10 kg in a business volume of 101 lots.
