Refined soya oil gained 1.31% to Rs 662 per 10 kg in futures trade today on speculators buying driven by upsurge in demand in the spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October month gained Rs 8.65, or 1.31%, to Rs 662 per 10 kg with an open interest of 64,670 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in November moved up by Rs 6.45, or 0.98% to Rs 661.50 per 10 kg in 61,300 lots.
Analysts said speculators enlarged their positions on the back of upsurge in demand in the spot market mainly led to rise in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
