Rel Infra gains 2% on Rs 11K crore order

The stock finally ended up 2% at Rs 1,212. The counter witnessed heavy volumes of 1.09 million shares on the BSE.

Reliance Infrastructure has gained in early trades on order of Rs 11,000 crore.

The stock opened at 1,199 and surged 3% to Rs 1,225. The stock is now up 2% at Rs 1,210. Around 153,664 stocks have been traded on the BSE so far.

The company has received the order for the Mumbai Metro-II project on Build Operate and Transfer basis. The project is the third they have won in a row and is estimated at Rs 11,000 crore. The project has been awarded by Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority through an international competitive bidding process.
