The major gainers were Reliance, up 5.57 per cent to $31.25, registering volume of 30,000 GDRs, Bajaj Auto up 5.09 per cent to $22.70, registering volume of 21,350 GDRs and SBI, up 2.37 per cent to $41.00, registering volume of 92,021 GDRs. The losers were""ITC down 1.13 per cent to $26.20 and Ranbaxy down 0.64 per cent to $23.45, registering volume of 3,000 GDRs. |

The ISDI, which represents the ADRs and GDRs of 15 actively-traded companies, closed up 3.72 per cent to 1,066.03 on the previous day and was trading at a price to earnings multiple of 18.60 (up by 3.72 per cent). |

Among the ISDI ADRs, seven advanced and one lost ground and among the ISDI GDRs and ADRs, there were 14 gainers and one loser. |

The major gainers were Satyam Computer, up 4.78 per cent to $21.50, registering volume of 358,300 ADRs, MTNL, up 4.42 per cent to $8.04, registering volume of 200,300 ADRs and Infosys, up 2.85 per cent to $84.06, registering volume of 264,090 ADRs. The only loser was VSNL down 1.19 per cent to $9.13, registering volume of 118,700 ADRs. |
