The Instanex Skindia DR index (ISDI), which tracks 15 actively-traded Indian companies, gained around 1 per cent to 498.16 on May 28, 2003, as compared to the previous close at 5:00 PM IST.
Among Indian GDRs, there were 5 gainers and 2 losers. The gainers included ITC (up 4.45 per cent to $15.25), State Bank of India (up 2.34 per cent to $17.50) and Reliance (up 1.65 per cent to $12.35).
Hindalco (down 2.69 per cent to $14.45) and Bajaj Auto (down 1.42 per cent to $10.40) were the losers.

On Tuesday, The ISDI rose by 1.08 per cent to 496.67, as against its previous close of 491.38, an Instanex Capital release said.
The ISDI P/E ratio also hardened by 1.10 per cent to 10.38, as against 10.26 previously. The ADRs of Rediff.Com and Silverline Tech firmed up to $5.03 and $1.44 respectively, as against $4.49 and $1.36 previously.
