The gainers were State Bank of India (up 2.50 per cent to $30.75, registering volumes of 6,593 GDRs) and Reliance (up 1.22 per cent to $24.90 with volumes of 104,200).
The prominent losers were ITC (down 2.68 per cent to $19.25), Bajaj Auto (down 2.25 per cent to $21.70 with volumes of only 193 GDRs) and L&T (down 2.17 per cent to $18 with volumes of 62,500 GDRs).
Instanex Skindia DR Index was up 1.12 per cent to 941.10 on December 03, 2003. The price to earnings multiple was 18.26 (up by 0.96 per cent). Among ISDI American depository receipts, five advanced and three lost ground.
The major gainers were ICICI Bank (up 5.43 per cent to $14.95 registering volumes of 645,600 ADRs), HDFC Bank (up 2.82 per cent to $27.35) and MTNL (up 0.73 per cent to $5.53). The losers included Wipro (down 3.95 per cent to $40.10 ) and Infosys (down 2.68 per cent to $83.50).
