Reliance Industries, which has a weightage of 11.73 per cent in the Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI), dropped 2.40 per cent to $12.20 in early hours of trading. The scrip registered volumes of around 100,000 GDRs.
Ranbaxy, which has a weightage of 6.60 per cent, rose 2.33 per cent to $13.15. However, ISDI remained more or less unchanged at 511.27 during early trades on Thursday.
There were 5 gainers and an equal number of losers among Indian depository receipts, while 62 others unchanged.

In the GDR/ADR universe, the other biggest gainers were Satyam Infoway (up 2.16 per cent to $2.36) and HDFC Bank (up 1.97 per cent to $13.46).
