Rice basmati prices declined in the wholesale grains market today on sluggish demand.
Elsewhere, prices moved in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks following increased arrivals from producing belts mainly led to a decline in wholesale rice basmati prices.
In the national capital, rice basmati Pusa-1121 variety eased to Rs 4,400-5,300 against last close of Rs 4,800-5,400 per quintal.
