Rohit Ferro-Tech surged 16.5% to Rs 8.7 on the BSE after the company approved the proposal to sell, transfer or otherwise dispose off the Jaipur manufacturing unit of of the company located at Kalinganagar industrial Complex, Duburi, Jajpur district in state of Orissa.
Mr Rohit Patni, Managing Director and Mr Suresh Kumar Patni, Director of the company has been authorized to negotiate the proposed deal with the prospective acceptable purchasers, Rohit Ferro-Tech said.
Rohit Ferro-Tech is a well-differentiated player in the Ferro Alloy manufacturing sector.
The stock opened at Rs 8, touched a high of Rs 9 on the BSE. A total of 444,718 shares have changed hands on the BSE so far.
