Saria declines on reduced offtake

Saria turned weak and prices declined by Rs 200 per tonne due to reduced offtake following ongoing monsoon season.

Traders said reduced offtake by stockists due to rainy season mainly led to fall in wholesale saria prices.

Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 39,600, Rs 39,300 and Rs 38,000 per tone, respectively.

16-25-mm followed suit and traded lower by similar margin at Rs 37,850 per tonne.
