Saria remains up on sustained buying

Saria prices rose by Rs 150 per tonne in the wholesale steel market today on sustained buying by stockists in view of pick up in demand.

Traders said sustained buying by stockists on good demand mainly led to a gain in wholesale saria prices.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12 mm remained in demand and added Rs 150 each to Rs 40,100, Rs 39,800 and Rs 38,500 per tonne, respectively.

Similarly, saria 16-25-mm enquired higher by the same margin at Rs 38,350 per tonne.
