Saria rises on fresh stockists buying

Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne in the wholesale steel market today on fresh buying by stockists followed by pick up in demand from the construction units.

Marketmen said fresh buying by stockists in view of pick up in demand from construction units led to a rise in wholesale saria prices. In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 32,000, Rs 32,000 and Rs 31,800 per tonne.

Saria 16-25-mm also traded higher by the same margin at Rs 32,000 per tonne.
