Saria rises on stockists buying

Saria strengthened by Rs 500 per tonne in the wholesale steel and iron market today on emergence of stockists buying followed by pick up in demand.

Increased offtake by stockists and rise in demand pushed up the wholesale saria prices, traders said.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were higher by Rs 500 each to Rs 41,200, Rs 42,900 and Rs 41,600, while 16-25-mm traded higher by the same margin to Rs 39,450 per tonne, respectively.
