Saria strengthens on stockists buying

Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne in the wholesale steel and iron market today on emergence of stockists buying due to pick up in demand.

Traders said fresh buying by stockists on pick up in demand from constructions units mainly pushed up wholesale saria prices.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 40,100, Rs 41,800 and Rs 40,500 per tonne.

Similarly, the saria 16-25-mm traded higher by the same margin to Rs 38,350 per tone.
