Saria weakens on reduced offtake

Saria prices fell by Rs 200 per tonne on the wholesale steel and iron market today on reduced offtake by stockists due to subdued demand.

Traders said reduced offtake by stockists due to subdued demand led to the fall in saria prices. 

In the saria section, Kamdhenu-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 39,700, Rs 41,400 and Rs 40,100 per tonne, respectively.

Similarly, the saria 16-25-mm traded lower by the same margin to Rs 37,950 per tonne.
