Indian global depository receipts (GDRs) traded weak till mid-trading session on Friday in London markets. |
The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI), which tracks 15 actively-traded Indian depository receipts, shed 2.74 per cent to 1,051.80 till mid-trading session (5:00 IST). SBI's GDR rose 1.84 per cent to $41.50 registering volume of 1,100 receipts. |

Reliance's GDR rallied 0.83 per cent to $30.50 with volumes of 25,300 receipts traded. Hindalco's GDR jumped 0.21 per cent to $30.80 registering volume of 6,000 GDRs. However, Bajaj Auto's GDR tumbled 1.28 per cent to $23.20 registering volume of 18,700 receipts. |

Ranbaxy's GDR too eased down 0.44 per cent to $22.40 registering volume of 100,000 receipts. On Thursday, the ISDI fell 4.27 per cent to close at 1,046.05 while the price-earning ratio lost 4.29 per cent to settle at 18.99. |

Meanwhile, US stocks witnessed a flat trend in opening trades on Friday after quarterly earnings from computer and printer heavyweight Hewlett-Packard left investors cold as the market lingers near long-time highs. |

Futures for the Standard & Poor's 500 edged up 0.30 point to 1,147.60, futures for the Nasdaq 100 eased 0.50 point to 1,488 and futures for the Dow Jones industrials advanced 8 points to 10,671. |

On Thursday, the Dow Jones industrial average slipped 7.26 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 10,664.73. Earlier, the Dow jumped to 10,753.63, its highest level since June 21, 2001. |

The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index fell 4.76 points, or 0.41 per cent, to 1,147.06. The technology-focused Nasdaq Composite index dropped 30.51 points, or 1.47 per cent, to 2,045.96. |

Meanwhile, Indian securities listed in the US settled lower. Infy, Infosys Tech ADR fell $5.53 to $84.87. Wit, the Wipro ADR tumbled $4.42 to $41.88 and Say, the Satyam Computer ADR eased down $2 to $22.08. |

Other big losers included IBN, the ICICI Bank ADR (down 91 cents to $15.94); HDB, the HDFC Bank ADR (down $1.17 to $30.24) and MTE, the MTNL ADR (down 71 cents to $9.09). |
