Select base metals declined at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to subdued demand from industrial users on the back of bearish trend at London Metal Exchange (LME).

Meanwhile, tin prices strengthened on better offtake from alloy and consumer industries.

Nickel dropped by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 1,210 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,220. Lead, copper scrap heavy, and copper utensils scrap softened by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 125, Rs 463 and Rs 424, respectively.

However, tin rose by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 1,440, against Rs 1,435 last weekend.
