Tin prices rose further at the non-ferrous metal market here today on sustained demand from stockists and industrial users amid firming trend in the London Metal Exchange (LME).

Elsewhere, nickel, copper utensils scrap and brass sheets cutting also edged up on increased off-take from consumer industries.

Meanwhile, copper sheets cutting and brass utensils scrap ended marginally lower owing to reduced industrial demand.

Tin hardened by Rs 20 per kilo to Rs 1,370 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 1,350 and nickel firmed up by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 1,175, as against Rs 1,172 previously.

Copper utensils scrap moved up by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 363 and brass sheets cutting by a rupee per kilo to Rs 272.

However, copper sheets cutting and brass utensils scrap eased by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 381 and Rs 262, respectively.
