Select commodities up on retailers demand

Select commodities prices rose up to Rs 200 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today pick up in retailers demand.  

Market analysts said pick up in retailers demand against slow down in arrivals mainly pushed up select wholesale comodities prices.

In the National Capital, kabli gram small variety rose by Rs 100 to Rs 5,400-6,900, while peas white and green moved up by Rs 75 each to Rs 2,200-2,300 and Rs 2,350-2,550 per quintal respectively.

Lobia also shot up by Rs 200 to Rs 4,700-5,200 per quintal. 

Following are today's quotations per quintal:

Urad 3,850-4,250, Urad chilka (local) 4,700-5,100, best 5,300-5,800, Dhoya 5,150-5,250, Moong 3,930-4,930, Dal moong chilka local 4,900-5,300, Moong Dhoya local 5,200-5,400 and best quality 5,800-6,000

Masoor small 2,750-2,950, bold 2,900-3,150, Dal Masoor local 3,250-3,350, best quality 3,550-3,850, Malka local 3,300-3,350, best 3,450-3,550, Moth 1,650-1,950, Arhar 3,150-3,650, dal arhar dara 4,750-5,150
