Select commodities up on rising demand

Select pulses prices rose up to Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on pick in demand in view of the ongoing marriage season. 

In the national capital, urad gained Rs 50 to Rs 4,100-4,650, while urad chilka (local), best and dhoya were traded higher by the same margin to Rs 5,050-5,450, Rs 5,600-5,900 and Rs 5,550-5,650 per quintal, respectively.

Moong and its dal chilka local followed suit and moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,200-4,600 and Rs 5,250-5,650, respectively, and moong dal dhoya local and best quality was enquired higher by the same margin to Rs 5,600-5,800 and Rs 6,100-6,300 per quintal, respectively.  

Gram rose by Rs 20 to Rs 2,575-2,600, while gram dal local and best quality gained Rs 25 each to Rs 2,900-2,915 and Rs 3,000-3,100 per quintal, respectively.
