Copra Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode prices slumped furher at the spices market here today on sustained offloading by stockists and traders on the back of sluggish domestic as well as export demand.
Copra edible also dropped owing to reduced domestic buying.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode both tanked by Rs 300 per quintal each to Rs 6,000 and Rs 5,800 from Monday's closing level of Rs 6,300 and Rs 6,100, respectively.
Copra edible Mumbai also dropped by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 7,400 from Rs 7,600 yesterday. Meanwhile, rest all other spices maintained a steady trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
