Copra Alapuzha and copra Rajapur prices rose at the spices market here today on renewed demand from stockists and exporters amidst good offtake from millers.
While, copra edible moved down owing to subdued retail buying.
Copra Alapuzha spurted by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,950 from its overnight closing level of Rs 6,850 and copra Rajapur Mumbai also gained Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 9,200 as compared to Rs 9,150 previously.
Copra edible Mumbai, however lost Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 7,850 from Rs 7,900 yesterday.
Rest of all other spices closed stable in the absence of market moving factors.
