Select edible oil prices rose up to Rs 150 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market on increased offtake by vanaspati millers, supported by ongoing marriage season mainly pushed up select wholesale edible oil prices.

In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oil gained the most by rising Rs 150 to Rs 7,400 per quintal.
Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils also moved up by Rs 30 and Rs 20 to Rs 6,480 and Rs 6,120 per quintal, respectively.
However, mustard expeller oil lacked necessary buying support and lost Rs 30 to Rs 6,070 per quintal.
