The Sensex soared to a new all-time intra-day high of 10,401 - up 1.9% (195 points) from the day's low of 10,206. The index is now up 106 points at 10,388.Heavy buying at the ITC saw the scrip zoom by nearly 9% from the day's low of Rs 161 to a high of Rs 175. The stock is now up 5% at Rs 174, backed by hefty volume of around 44.45 lakh shares.Maruti and ACC have surged 4% each to Rs 821 and Rs 620, respectively.ICICI Bank has advanced 3.2% to Rs 613, and Tata Motors has rallied 3% to Rs 809.HLL has gained 2.6% to Rs 245. Grasim, BHEL, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance and Reliance Energy are up 1-2% each.ONGC has slumped 2.5% to Rs 1,149. Ranbaxy has shed 1.8% to Rs 434.Satyam and Infosys have declined 1% each to Rs 774 and Rs 2,824, respectively.The market breadth is slightly negative. Out of 2,479 stocks traded so far, 1,370 have declined, 1,037 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
