The Sensex has opened with a gap of 70 points and hit a all time high crossing the 6700 mark for the first time. Nifty is trading at 2100.The upswing is currently powered by the heavyweights in the technology, telecom, banking and auto sectors.Bharti Tele has zoomed 4% (up Rs 8) to Rs 217. Infosys is trading strong with a huge gain of Rs 57(up 3%) at Rs 2161 during early moring trades. Satyam has climbed 2%(Rs 9) to Rs 420.SBI and ICICI Bank has gained 2% to Rs 669 and Rs 381 respectively.Tata motors and Hero Honda rose by a per cent to Rs 508 and Rs 557, while Maruti is up by a per cent to Rs 502.HLL is flat at Rs 156. Hindalco added Rs 10 and is currently trading at Rs 1380, while Bhel has notched up by a per cent to Rs 824.
