The Sensex is now at the day's high of 10,977 - up 311 points.Larsen & Toubro has rallied 5.5% to Rs 2,422. Cipla has soared 3.7% to Rs 232.ITC and Maruti and surged 3.5% each to Rs 187 and Rs 806, respectively.Bajaj Auto, Infosys and BHEL have gained over 3% each at Rs 2,880, Rs 2,927 and Rs 1,960, respectively.Tata Motors, NTPC and Satyam are also trading with smart gains.Bharti Tele has declined 1.3% to Rs 388.
