The Sensex is now down 11 points at 18,649.The NSE Nifty is up seven points at 5,470.Bharti Airtel has surged 2% to Rs 941. Reliance Energy has moved up 1.7% to Rs 2,047, and ACC has gained 1.5% at Rs 778.ONGC and DLF have advanced 1.3% each to Rs 1,069 and Rs 894, respectively.HDFC, Ambuja Cements and Cipla are up over 1% each at Rs 3,052, Rs 124 and Rs 202, respectively.Larsen & Toubro and Reliance Communications are also down around 1% each at Rs 3,844 and Rs 692, respectively.Infosys has plunged nearly 3% to Rs 1,595. Satyam has slipped 2.3% to Rs 427, and Wipro has dropped 2% to Rs 455. TCS has shed 1.5% at Rs 961.Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors and Tata Steel have declined around 1.7% each to Rs 2,416, Rs 758 and Rs 790, respectively.HDFC Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra are down 1.3% each at Rs 1,527 and Rs 687, respectively.
