The Sensex is now down 127 points at 17,720.HDFC has plunged nearly 4% to Rs 2,494, and ONGC has slumped 3.7% to Rs 987.ICICI Bank and ITC have shed 2.7% each to Rs 1,058 and Rs 182, respectively.Wipro and Reliance Communications have slipped 2% each to Rs 461 and Rs 630, respectively.HDFC Bank, Hindalco and Grasim have declined 1.7% each to Rs 1,398, Rs 176 and Rs 3,588, respectively.NTPC has soared nearly 4% to Rs 225. Tata Steel has surged nearly 3% to Rs 864.Reliance Energy and Bajaj Auto have rallied 2% each to Rs 1,480 and Rs 2,592, respectively.Maruti has moved up 1.7% to Rs 1,037. Tata Motors, Ranbaxy and BHEL have gained 1.4% each at Rs 801, Rs 445 and Rs 2,102, respectively.Out of 2,780 stocks traded so far, 1,685 have declined, 1,031 have advanced and 64 are unchanged.
