The Sensex opened a tad higher at 10,831. Follow-up buying in opening trades saw the index spurt to a high of 10,898.Selling soon emerged and the index tumbled into the negative zone. The index dropped to a low of 10,623 - down 275 points from the day's high.The index is now down 149 points at 10,674.The market breadth is slightly negative - out of 1,522 stocks traded so far, 864 have declined, 622 have advanced and 36 are unchanged.
