The Sensex is now down 164 points 13,354.
Ranbaxy has slumped 7% to Rs 378. Sterlite has plunged 6.4% to Rs 447.
ITC has shed 5.2% at Rs 184. ICICI Bank has lost 4.7% at Rs 564. HDFC Bank has tumbled nearly 4% to Rs 1,183.
SBI has dropped 3.7% to Rs 1,526. BHEL, Reliance and TCS have slipped around 2.6% each to Rs 1,604, Rs 1,878 and Rs 730, respectively.
Tata Motors has rallied over 4.7% to Rs 417. ONGC has surged over 2.7% to Rs 978.
Infosys has moved up 1.3% to Rs 1,585. Mahindra & Mahindra and Wipro are up over 0.6% each at Rs 537 and Rs 394, respectively.
Out of 2,646 stocks traded so far, 1,641 have declined, 922 have advanced and 83 are unchanged.
