The Sensex has slipped deeper into red and is now down 188 points at 17,161.The NSE Nifty is down 46 points at 5,065.HDFC Bank has plunged 4.7% to Rs 1,405, and ICICI Bank has tumbled 3.5% to Rs 1,061.Bajaj Auto has slumped 3.5% to Rs 2,217. Hindalco and Tata Steel have dropped 3% each to Rs 186 and Rs 780, respectively.Mahindra & Mahindra has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 617. SBI has shed 1.6% at Rs 2,080, and DLF is down 1.3% at Rs 818.ONGC has moved up 1.4% to Rs 1,012. Grasim and Wipro are up 1% each at Rs 2,825 and Rs 427, respectively.
