The Sensex added five points to open at 6,200. After gaining ten more points to touch an early high of 6,210, the index slipped from higher levels to touch a low of 6,189. The Sensex is down two points at 6,193, while the Nifty is up three points at 1,920.Zee, after reporting strong gains yesterday, has dropped 3.39% (Rs 5) to Rs 137, while HPCL has lost 1.59% (Rs 5) to Rs 312.Reliance and HLL are marginally down at Rs 533 and Rs 133, respectively.While ITC is up a per cent (Rs 7) at Rs 1,415, ONGC is up Rs 3 at Rs 828. ICICI Bank has added nearly 2% (Rs 6) to Rs 368. While HDFC Bank is up Rs 2 at Rs 539, SBI has slipped a per cent (Rs 4) to Rs 585.Bajaj has gained 1.36% (Rs 15) to Rs 1,103. Other auto scrips are displaying a divergent trend.
