The Sensex has declined further. It is now down 273 points to 16,970 points. The Nifty is trading at 5039 points, down 79 points. Only TCS and Satyam are in the green among the Sensex stocks. TCS is 1% higher at Rs 974, and Satyam has advanced 0.24% to Rs 494. Reliance Infra is down 3.6% to Rs 1,328, Tata Motors has lost 2.3% to Rs 666. ICICI Bank has lost 2.8%, and HDFC, Maruti, HDFC Bank are down nearly 2.5%. M&M, L&T and Jaiprakash Associates are down 2% each.
