The market is witnessing a sluggish trend in the afternoon trades as tech, cement, select pharma and other old economy counters are largely unchanged from their early weakness. The Sensex, as a result, is down 28 points at 6,826, while the Nifty has lost five points to 2,149.Reliance has inched lower to Rs 583 - down Rs 5. HLL is down a rupee at Rs 142, while ITC is trading a tad lower at Rs 1,345.Infosys is still trading lower by a per cent (Rs 14) at Rs 2,201. Wipro at Rs 693 (down Rs 5) and Satyam at Rs 414 (down Rs 2) continue to languish in negative territories.Zee has extended its losses by 2.85% (Rs 4) to Rs 137.HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank continue to display weak trends at Rs 604 ( down Rs 5) and Rs 387 (down Rs 3), respectively. SBI is trading at subdued levels at Rs 733 - down Rs 3.Bajaj and Maruti are still down a per cent each at Rs 1,109 (down Rs 9) and Rs 454 (down Rs 4), respectively. While Hero Honda has logged gains with a per cent gain (Rs 5) at Rs 569, Tata Motors is up a notch at Rs 462.Ranbaxy has dropped 1.64% (Rs 17) to Rs 1,052, while Dr. Reddy's at Rs 747 and Cipla at Rs 280 have recovered from their early weakness.ONGC is unchanged with a per cent gain (Rs 5) at Rs 917.Bharti, which reported a block deal in its counter in early trades, is trading off-highs with a gain of Rs 2 at Rs 227. L&T (up Rs 9 to Rs 1,102) and Tisco (up Rs 2 to Rs 443) are trading with steady gains.
