BHEL has tumbled 4.7% to Rs 1,665, Jaiprakash Associates has plunged 4.5% to Rs 227.
Reliance Communications has declined 4.2% to Rs 548. Ambuja Cements and Reliance Infrastructure have dropped 4% each to Rs 98 and Rs 1,241, respectively.
ITC has shed 2.6% to Rs 206. Larsen & Toubro has slipped 3.5% at Rs 2,749.

ICICI Bank, Maruti and Hindalco have lost 3% each to Rs 838, Rs 766 and Rs 187, respectively.
Tata Steel and SBI have declined 2.6% each at Rs 872 and Rs 1,532, respectively.
Tata Motors is down 2.5% to Rs 622. HDFC and ACC are down over 2% each to Rs 2,619 and Rs 654, respectively.
Infosys has gained 2.5% to Rs 1,871, while Bharti Airtel has surged 2.3% to Rs 856.
TCS is up nearly 2% at Rs 952.
