The Sensex is now down 297 points at 14,842.Reliance Communications has plunged nearly 4% to Rs 526. Maruti has slumped 3.7% to Rs 819.Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank and Hindalco have tumbled over 3% each to Rs 2,439, Rs 886 and Rs 157, respectively.Wipro, Infosys and BHEL have shed nearly 3% each to Rs 457, Rs 1,864 and Rs 1,672, respectively.Ambuja Cements, Reliance Energy, HDFC, Grasim and Hindustan Unilever have dropped around 2.5% each to Rs 126, Rs 735, Rs 1,941, Rs 2,890 and Rs 200, respectively.ACC, Satyam, HDFC Bank and Reliance are down around 2% each toRs 980, Rs 461, Rs 1,129 and Rs 1,766, respectively. ITC has soared over 2% to Rs 173. TCS has gained 1% at Rs 1,108.Out of 2,618 stocks traded so far, 1,612 have declined, 956 have advanced and 50 are unchanged.
