The Sensex is now down 34 points at 14,537.Hindalco has soared 6.7% to Rs 150. ITC has surged 2% to Rs 165.SBI, HDFC Bank, Ranbaxy, HDFC and Reliance Communications have advanced 1% each to Rs 1,395, Rs 1,167, Rs 392, Rs 1,880 and Rs 511, respectively.Dr.Reddy's and HLL are the other major gainers.Tata Motors has plunged 3.5% to Rs 722. Cipla has shed 2.5% to Rs 218.Grasim has dropped 2% to Rs 2,470. Satyam and BHEL have slipped 1.8% each to Rs 470 and Rs 1,390, respectively.ACC, Hero Honda, Wipro and Gujarat Ambuja are down 1% each to Rs 841, Rs 709, Rs 539 and Rs 114, respectively.Out of 2,388 stocks traded so far, 1,204 have advanced, 1,107 have declined and 77 are unchanged.
