The Sensex is now down 40 points at 14,043.Satyam has plunged 3.3% to Rs 481. Hindalco has dropped over 2% to Rs 158.HDFC and Reliance Communications have shed 1.5% each to Rs 1,732 and Rs 497, respectively.NTPC, Cipla, Bajaj Auto and BHEL are down 1% each to Rs 153, Rs 209, Rs 2,099 and Rs 1,305, respectively. Tata Steel has surged 2% to Rs 592. ACC has gained 1.8% at Rs 778.HLL and Gujarat Ambuja are the other prominent gainers.Out of 2,018 stocks traded so far, 1,274 have declined, 681 have advanced and 63 are unchanged.
