The Sensex is now down 42 points at 12,886.Satyam has surged 3.4% to Rs 451. BHEL has gained 2% at Rs 2,463, and Hero Honda has spurted 1% to Rs 754.HDFC Bank has shed 4% to Rs 1,005. HLL has dropped 2.3% to Rs 232, and NTPC has slipped 2.2% to Rs 128.Grasim and HDFC have declined nearly 2% each to Rs 2,622 and Rs 1,517, respectively. TCS, Ranbaxy and Larsen & Toubro are down around 1.5% each to Rs 1,113, Rs 411 and Rs 1,288, respectively.Gujarat Ambuja, Infosys, Reliance Energy, Cipla, ITC and Tata Motors are the other prominent losers.Out of 2,539 stocks traded so far, 1,654 have declined, 812 have advanced and 73 are unchanged.
