The Sensex is now down 42 points at 10,202.SBI has surged 3% to Rs 878. Larsen & Toubro has gained 2% at Rs 2,341. Gujarat Ambuja has moved up 1.6% to Rs 86.15.Tata Power, NTPC, Tata Steel, Grasim and ICICI Bank have advanced over 1% each.Dr.Reddy's has dropped 3% to Rs 1,322. HLL has shed 2.3% to Rs 243. Hero Honda has slipped 2% to Rs 890.ITC, Satyam, ONGC, Ranbaxy, Bajaj Auto, HDFC Bank, Bharti Tele, Infosys, Cipla, Wipro and HDFC have declined over 1% each.Out of 2,528 stocks traded so far, 1,370 have declined, 1,082 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.UTI continues to top the value chart with a turnover of Rs 657.52 crore followed by Reliance Capital (Rs 94.55 crore), Tata Steel (Rs 78.31 crore), SBI (Rs 73.34 crore), Inox (Rs 73.34 crore).UTI Bank also leads the volume chart with trades of around 2.06 crore shares followed by Reliance Energy Ventures (80.95 lakh), IFCI (56.62 lakh), Inox (40 lakh) and SAIL (37.63 lakh).
