The Sensex is now down 437 points at 19,814.The NSE Nifty is down 152 points at 5,921.HDFC Bank, NTPC and Reliance Communications have plunged around 6% each to Rs 1,673, Rs 257 and Rs 732, respectively.BHEL has tumbled 5% to Rs 2,295, and DLF has shed 4.4% at Rs 1,124.Reliance Energy and Tata Steel have slumped around 4% each to Rs 2,267 and Rs 819, respectively.Hindalco and ITC have dropped 3.5% each to Rs 191 and Rs 209, respectively.Tata Motors, Maruti and Ranbaxy have slipped around 2.5% each to Rs 749, Rs 845 and Rs 380, respectively.Reliance and HDFC have declined over 2% each to Rs 3,093 and Rs 2,845, respectively.Satyam and ACC are down 1.8% each at Rs 381 and Rs 858, respectively.ICICI Bank and TCS have advanced around 1% each to Rs 1,366 and Rs 948, respectively.Out of 2,823 stocks traded so far, 2,307 have declined, 496 have advanced and 20 are unchanged.
