The Sensex is now down 49 points at 14,594.Hindalco has shed 2.7% to Rs 177, and Bajaj Auto has slipped over 2% to Rs 3,014. Reliance Communications, Satyam and Larsen & Toubro have shed around 1.5% each to Rs 477, Rs 483 and Rs 1,717, respectively.ITC, Bharti Airtel, HLL and Hero Honda are down 1% each at Rs 174, Rs 766, Rs 205 and Rs 726, respectively.ICICI Bank has advanced over 2% to Rs 1,003. Reliance Energy has moved up 1.6% to Rs 568.BHEL and ONGC are up 1% each at Rs 2,524 and Rs 901, respectively.Out of 2,641 stocks traded so far, 1,693 have declined, 884 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
