The Sensex is now down 517 points at 16,024.The NSE Nifty is down 142 points at 4,779.Reliance Energy has slumped nearly 8% to Rs 1,345. ICICI Bank has tumbled 5.7% to Rs 906.HDFC Bank and Bajaj Auto have plunged nearly 5% each to Rs 1,270 and Rs 2,025, respectively.HDFC and DLF have shed 4.5% each at Rs 2,625 and Rs 651, respectively.Hindalco and Satyam have slipped around 4% each to Rs 199 and Rs 417, respectively.Maruti, NTPC and Reliance Communications have declined 3.7% each to Rs 904, Rs 187 and Rs 508, respectively.
