The Sensex is now down 565 points at 14,436.Tata Steel has plunged nearly 8% to Rs 592. Bharti Airtel has tumbled over 6% to Rs 804.ICICI Bank has slumped 5.3% to Rs 831. SBI, Reliance, Reliance Communications and BHEL have dropped 4.8% each to Rs 1,536, Rs 1,744, Rs 500 and Rs 1,608, respectively.Reliance Energy has dropped 4.3% to Rs 721. Larsen & Toubro, Hindalco, ONGC and HDFC Bank have shed 4% each to Rs 2,322, Rs 148, Rs 820 and Rs 1,101, respectively.Grasim, Maruti, Tata Motors and Cipla have slipped nearly 3.5% each to Rs 2,780, Rs 794, Rs 668 and Rs 184, respectively.TCS, Bajaj Auto, Ranbaxy and ITC have declined 3% each to Rs 1,094, Rs 2,312, Rs 362 and Rs 160, respectively.Out of 2,616 stocks traded so far, 1,696 have declined, 868 have advanced and 52 are unchanged.
