The Sensex is now down 571 points at 14,430.Tata Steel has plunged over 8% to Rs 588. Bharti Airtel has slumped 6.5% to Rs 802.BHEL and ICICI Bank have tumbled 5% each to Rs 1,600 and Rs 835, respectively. Reliance Communications, SBI and Reliance have shed 4.7% each to Rs 499, Rs 1,538 and Rs 1,746, respectively.Hindalco, HDFC Bank and ONGC have dropped 4% each to Rs 148, Rs 1,100 and Rs 820, respectively.Reliance Energy and Larsen & Toubro have slipped 3.8% each to Rs 725 and Rs 2,330, respectively.Maruti, Cipla, Tata Motors, Grasim, ITC, Mahindra & Mahindra and Bajaj Auto are down over 3% each.Out of 2,664 stocks traded so far, 1,750 have declined, 860 have advanced and 54 are unchanged.
