Sensex down 58pts; Infosys drops 3%

 Infosys has plunged 3.3% to Rs 1,685. Wipro has slipped 2.3% to Rs 494, and Satyam has shed 2% at Rs 433.

ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 1,293 and Rs 1,745, respectively.

Bajaj Auto and Bharti Airtel are down over 1% each at Rs 2,759 and Rs 1,020, respectively.

Out of 2,828 stocks traded so far, 2,037 have advanced, 753 have declined and 38 are unchanged.
