The Sensex has slipped into the negative zone and is now down 62 points at 15,583.The NSE Nifty is down 24 points at 4,711.BHEL has slumped 5.7% to Rs 1,940. Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Tata Steel have plunged nearly 3% each to Rs 2,939 and Rs 674, respectively.Bharti Airtel and Mahindra & Mahindra have dropped around 2.5% each to Rs 805 and Rs 678, respectively.HDFC Bank and Wipro have slipped around 2% each to Rs 1,292 and Rs 417, respectively. DLF has shed 1.5% at Rs 636.HDFC, NTPC and ICICI Bank are down around 1% each at Rs 2,355, Rs 195 and Rs 763, respectively.Hindustan Unilever has rallied over 2% to Rs 234. TCS has gained 1.6% at Rs 824.Hindalco and Satyam have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 167 and Rs 400, respectively.
