The Sensex is now down 681 points at 15,861.The NSE Nifty is down 192 points at 4,729.Reliance Energy has slumped 10.7% to Rs 1,304. Bajaj Auto has tumbled nearly 10% to Rs 1,919, and ICICI Bank has plunged 9% to Rs 874.Hindalco has dropped 7% to Rs 193. NTPC and HDFC have shed 5.5% each at Rs 184 and Rs 2,606, respectively.Ranbaxy and Tata Motors have slipped around 5% each to Rs 431 and Rs 666, respectively.Mahindra & Mahindra and Satyam have shed 4.7% each at Rs 664 and Rs 414, respectively.Larsen & Toubro, Wipro, HDFC Bank and Infosys are down over 4% each.Out of 2,647 stocks traded so far, 2,424 have declined, 196 have advanced and 27 are unchanged.
