The Nifty is now trading at 4924, up 5 points.
Cipla is up 3% at Rs 214. RCom has gained 2.9% to Rs 567. Jaiprakash surged 2% at Rs 234. Satyam and Ranbaxy are up 1.7% at Rs 523 and Rs 504 respectively. Tata Steel and HDFC too have advanced 1.5% at Rs 916 and Rs 2,552.
Wipro, HDFC Bank, Reliance Infra, ONGC, L&T, Bharti, HUL and Bhel are the other gainers.
Tata Motors has lost 6.5% to Rs 593. Ambuja Cements slipped 2.3% at Rs 101. Maruti has declined 2% to Rs 762. ITC is down 1.7% at Rs 218. Mahindra & Mahindra is down 1.6% to Rs 631.
SBI, ICICI Bank,Grasim, NTPC, Infosys, Hindalco, TCS, DLF, HUL and ACC are the other losers.
