The Sensex is now down 715 points at 15,413.The NSE Nifty is down 231 points at 4,641.Reliance Energy and BHEL have slumped 7.7% each to Rs 1,227 and Rs 1,860, respectively.DLF has tumbled nearly 7% to Rs 664, and Tata Steel has shed 6.5% at Rs 717.Hindalco and Reliance Communications have plunged 6% each to Rs 180 and Rs 507, respectively.Wipro has dropped 5.7% to Rs 368. Larsen & Toubro and Bharti Airtel have slipped 5.5% each to Rs 2,776 and Rs 766, respectively.ICICI Bank has declined over 5% to Rs 835. Reliance and NTPC have shed 4.7% each at Rs 2,263 and Rs 186, respectively.ONGC has dropped 4.3% to Rs 970. ACC, HDFC Bank, Satyam, SBI and Infosys are down around 4% each.Out of 2,524 stocks traded so far, 2,192 have declined, 302 have advanced and 30 are unchanged.
